Description
A fantastic excursion whether you are new to horse riding or an experienced rider. With qualified and very experienced guides to help you, this horse riding excursion on the beach of Saint George will certainly be one of the most memorable experiences during your Naxos holiday.
We have a large number of horses so we will make sure you'll be matched with a horse that suits your experience level. All safety equipment of the highest standards is provided and included in the tour price.
We will meet at the horse riding school and head down towards the sea. The school is located just outside Naxos town (Chora).
From there you will head down towards the beach to an area that is not very busy even in the summer. If you opt for the afternoon excursion (starting at 18:00) you will have the chance to see the sunset over the sea with a view to neighboring Paros across the bay: a truly mesmerizing experience.
There is a short stop on the way back at a local beach cafe to buy a drink and enjoy the view across to Paros or in the evening watch the sunset. The ride lasts about two hours, but timings are never strict especially on the Greek islands. The idea is that you have a beautiful and relaxing ride so there are no strict time limits.
If you are experienced, please tell your guide, so you will have also the chance to gallop. A thrilling experience in a beautiful location.
When you go on with your booking, on your ticket you'll find a link to a Google Map with the exact meeting location. Note that we can also organize a transfer from your hotel if you need it at a small extra cost.
Please note that during the winter only the morning tour is available (starting at 11:00).

In case the weather is bad and for your safety your excursion is cancelled you will first be offered the chance to reschedule. If, for whatever reason you can't or don't want to reschedule - including, simply, your wishes, we will then immediately process a 100% refund of your booking. Without any extra fees or charges. It is not possible to pay on arrival. The only way to secure a booking is to make a reservation beforehand.
