Description

Discover Apiranthos village, a little gem that Anthony Bourdain - the late famous chef traveler - had fallen in love with. There are many photo opportunities all over the village with the traditional houses, marble-paved alleys and beautiful little shops with traditional products. Apiranthos hosts five museums, the locals speak a unique dialect and await to give you a warm welcome. After walking around the village, you will taste local gastronomy treasures like fresh goat cheese, fragrant bread and the "Zamboni" an indigenous type of Proscuitto, along with a sip of "raki". Don't miss the desserts which local women make with local ingredients.
